It was amazing weekend in Amsterdam! But before I will describe you The Open Street Amsterdam Competition, I would like to write you a little words about our training session!
We arrived to Amsterdam at Saturday morning. On the place Dennis Horvath and Dominic Dominique Kleijwegt Verdoes were waiting for us. We had huge lucky that we had an opportunity to meet this guys, because they are friendly and they are fishermen with experience in street fishing.
What’s more they know Amsterdam what was very important for us, because we could find fish fast and caught them with pleasure. In the middle of the day Torsten Rühl joined us. Torsten is a right man and good fisherman with the biggest landing net. Before we arrived to Amsterdam we were wondering about the lures which we will use during the training and competition.
As we were thinking we caught the most fish on SpinMad tail spinners! It was amazing… We caught a lot of perches on 5 models of our tail spinners. In our opinion the best were SpinMad Wir 10g and all series of SpinMad Jigmaster lures.
What’s more we also caught zanders on Kogut Jigs on heavy jig heads. Everyone caught a few nice fish so we were so glad. The biggest pike during the training session was caught by Dominique and it was a great fight on subtle rod! This pike had a 100 cm and it was a new Personal Best of Dominique! Congratulations!
On the other hand, Dennis also had a good day. I think that he caught more fish than we together. At the evening every with us used a SpinMad Wir 10g tail spinners. These day it was the best lure from SpinMad catalogue. We could know an area in short time because we had good lures and experienced guides who shared their knowledge with pleasure.
It was wonderful day on the street which our rods with new friends in beautiful Amsterdam among unbelievable amount of bicycles! Thanks guys for your help! If we came back to Amsterdam we would like to fish with you again!
